The Biggest Announcements of Microsoft's Oct. 2 Surface Event

Today, in New York Microsoft hosted a Surface event where some new products were announced: Surface Pro 6, Surface Laptop 2, Surface Studio 2.

A totally unexpected Surface Headphone complementing Microsoft’s growing lineup of Surface accessories was also introduced.
Surface Headphones features  Bluetooth, noise cancelling,  4-beam forming mics and Cortana integration.

Today was also officially lauched the Windows 10 October 2018 Update, the update will automatically begin rolling out for everyone starting on October 9, but if you want to install it manually today you can do it thanks to the Windows Update Assistant (click on the button update now)

As part of the Windows 10 October 2018 Microsoft released the Your Phone app, that I introduced at Insider Dev Tour Milan and Zurich as part of the keynote.
With the Your Phone app, when you install it on both your smartphone and Windows (you need to pair them as part of the setup) from your Windows desktop you can display recent photos and texts from your phone directly on your desktop, and you can drag, drop, copy and paste on to your desktop or into other applications.

That’s not all, Microsoft also showed a major new feature coming to the Your Phone app in a future update the phone mirroring.
And wow, with this feature you will be able to use Your Phone to mirror your phone’s screen on a Windows 10 PC, letting you open and interact with apps and, do anything else you’d normally do with your phone in your hands.
